PRAVAT PRASUN SINGH

This portfolio analyses the precinct area of Old Bhubaneswar, its transition from a heritage temple town where the past meets the present. The corridor which eventually catered to the religious tourists has evolved into a residential hub looming around institutional and commercial clusters. Early migrants and traders who stayed around these central areas of the city, now live in independent houses. The booming real estate markets has given rise to high rises accommodating professionals and students. The central part of the precinct is slowly developing a mall-culture. The greenery has, therefore, reduced to accommodate evolving amenities around the midrise residential habitation.
