Public Space

Nolli's map is utilized as a method to identify different types of public realm in students’ precincts.The map is then used to also analyze the degree of ‘public-ness’ basis access restrictions pertaining to gender, time, age and cost.

Ahmadabad holds an iconic image to be called the first world heritage city. Demographically with a high demographic dividend city is located at the center of Gujarat. Navrangpura as a neighborhood is centrally located at the center of the city with potential locations with the connected labor market in a form of CG road. The major advantage of the location is connectivity, it is well connected with the other part of the city including the closer proximity to CBD. Such desirability is converted into the vertical floor space to cater to the rising demand and population by maintaining the similar character of the neighborhood.
