The portfolio contains a detailed study of a square kilometer area in Naupada - a residential neighborhood in Thane, Maharashtra. It focuses on analyzing the urban fabric of the area thereby developing a comprehensive understanding in both the qualitative and quantitative terms, to understand the local physical characteristics. It delineates the urban scenario of the site precinct in terms of governance, infrastructure facilities, basic infrastructure facilities and overall planning. The folio highlights observations based on aerial imagery as well as by studying the history, street network, built form, land development and housing trends of the area.
