How do livelihood choices and trade-offs influence the social resilience of households in Chennai? On the other hand, Guindy, the city's dense urban hub today, developed from a peri-urban nucleus and is further transforming into a real estate hotspot. Triggered by externalities, the mixed-use transit node�s changing urban fabric and quintessential character has a powerful influence on the socio-economic and livelihood capacity of its residents. What are the implications of this growth for Guindy�s lesser privileged residents?
